HOW IT WORKS

When used after proper brushing and flossing, Colgate Plax Freshmint mouthwash helps deliver a plaque-control system. FAQS

WHY IS IT RECOMMENDED THAT I RINSE AFTER BRUSHING AND FLOSSING?

Adding a mouthwash to your daily care routine is another way to limit plaque build-up, freshen your breath, and rid your mouth of the bacteria loosened by brushing and flossing. Always use mouthwash as directed, and be sure to use it in addition to, not in place of, daily brushing and flossing.

HOW MUCH COLGATE PLAX FRESHMINT SHOULD I USE WHEN RINSING?

All it takes is about half a cap of Colgate Plax Freshmint, swished around for 30 seconds, to rinse your mouth. Avoid eating, drinking and rinsing your mouth for about 30 minutes afterwards.

CAN MY CHILDREN USE COLGATE PLAX FRESHMINT?

Colgate Plax Freshmint is designed for adults and is not recommended for children under 6. Consult your dentist first before allowing its use by children under 6 years old.

WHERE CAN I BUY COLGATE PLAX FRESHMINT?

Good news. Colgate Plax Freshmint is available over the counter, at most chemists, supermarkets and retail outlets.

WHAT IS PLAQUE?

Plaque is the sticky, colourless layer of bacteria that forms on our teeth every day. If it’s not removed by proper, twice daily brushing and daily flossing, plaque can harden into tartar, lead to cavities and gum disease, and cause other oral health issues.

WHAT IS TARTAR?

Tartar is plaque that has hardened onto your teeth. It also forms along and underneath the gum line, absorbs and shows stains more easily than tooth enamel, and can only be removed by your dental professional. The most common sign of tartar is a yellowing or browning of the teeth and gums. Brush twice daily and floss once a day to minimise tartar build-up.
