Naturally Sweet have formulated Xylitol as a fine grade icing sugar; great for those wanting to have some icing on their cake and eat it too! Substitute for sugar on a 1:1 basis.

Originally derived from birch bark but now usually obtained from corn, xylitol is good for both your teeth and for your waistline. By modifying the saliva in your mouth, xylitol promotes the remineralisation of tooth enamel so that eating meals, desserts and candies flavoured with Xylitol not only do not cause cavities but actually works to prevent them. Every teaspoon of Naturally Sweet Xylitol also contains 40% fewer calories than sugar, and slowly absorbed, thereby reducing blood sugar spikes.

Note: This product has a 4% corn starch content.
