Description

Hydrogen Peroxide 3% solutions are used for cleansing and debridement of wounds and ulcers.

 

Cautions

Not to be taken. Not for injection. Do not irrigate under pressure or into closed body cavities. Do not mix with other chemicals. Do not return unused solution to the bottle.

 

Safety Directions

Wear protective gloves when mixing or using.

 

Adverse Effects

Adverse effects to 3% solutions of Hydrogen Peroxide are rare but if irritation occurs, discontinue use.

 

Directions for Use

Usage will be dictated by individual circumstances.

 

First Aid

For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (Phone Australia 13 11 26) or a doctor. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continuously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by the Poisons Information Centre, or doctor, or for at least 15 minutes. If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water.

 

Store below 25°C and away from light.
