Premular® (Ze 440) is a natural medicine clinically proven for the symptomatic relief of premenstrual syndrome (PMS); including symptoms of irritability, anger, headache, bloating and breast tenderness.1,2 Vitex agnus castus (Chaste tree) has a long history of use for hormonal conditions and menstrual complaints. What is Premular used for?

Premular provides natural relief from the physical and behavioural symptoms of PMS.1,2

PMS symptoms are linked to various hormonal changes through the menstrual cycle. The unique extract of Vitex found in Premular helps to balance these hormones through reducing prolactin levels, which are thought to be in excess in PMS.6 This may help to reduce the following PMS symptoms:

Premular has demonstrated consistent efficacy in clinical trials, including a double-blind placebo-controlled study published in the British Medical Journal.1 Evidence published only last year has confirmed that Premular is more effective, when compared to other doses of Chaste tree, for the relief of PMS symptoms.5

Premular's unique formulation

Premular tablets contain a specific extract of Vitex agnus castus (Ze 440) that is manufactured in Switzerland under patented production methods. This ensures a high quality extract with batch-to-batch consistency.

Directions & dosage

Adults: 1 tablet a day, continued throughout the month.

Premular tablets are easy to take and very well tolerated. Dosing should be started within the first few days of the menstrual cycle (within the first few days of menstrual bleeding) and continued throughout the month. Consistent symptom improvement is expected after 3 months of using Premular.
